Skopje accuses: Bulgaria was the first to violate the Treaty of Friendship and Good Neighborhood  - 1

The Prime Minister of the RSM, Hristiyan Mickoski, accused the Bulgarian government of being the first to violate the Treaty of Friendship and Good Neighborhood in 2019. According to him, our country has hindered Skopje's European integration by vetoing the EU membership negotiations, BTA reported.

He noted that Bulgarians are welcome if they want to respect and honor the image and work of the Macedonian hero, ideologist and revolutionary Gotse Delchev, referring to the statement of Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev that the RSM government has not extended an invitation to Bulgaria to jointly celebrate the 153rd anniversary of the birth of Gotse Delchev.

Regarding the invitation to the Bulgarian government for talks, Mickoski stated that the RSM authorities have no intention of banging their heads against the wall and will not sign everything that is put on the table at any cost. In his words, politicians who do not listen to the people.

He assured that he is fighting to secure a better negotiating position than this disastrous position that he has inherited. We are fulfilling everything we have promised, very, very carefully, and we will continue to fulfill it, emphasized Mickoski.
