A 51-year-old pilot of a single-engine plane died after the plane he was flying crashed into a field near the city of Bonn, western Germany, DPA reported, citing a police statement from last night.
His six-year-old daughter was on board the plane with him, who managed to escape from the burning plane, but is seriously injured, the agency said. However, according to police, the child's life is not in danger.
