Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that 80 years after the victory over Nazi Germany "we must fight together" against Russian "evil" against the backdrop of the three-year-long invasion of Moscow's troops, as a result of which thousands of Ukrainians have been killed, Ukrinform and France Press reported, quoted by BTA.
"We must fight against it together, decisively and with force", Zelensky said in a video message posted on social media, recorded in the center of Kiev.
He also condemned, in his words, the pompous commemorations organized tomorrow by the Kremlin in Moscow. "This will be a parade of cynicism and lies", Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian president recalled that three years ago, destroyed Russian military equipment was exhibited in the center of Kiev. "Only such a parade can bring evil here", the Ukrainian president said.
"Today reminds us of something important - every evil will certainly come to an end. Every occupier eventually leaves our land. Life always returns. Today we are fighting for this very thing. This is exactly what will happen one day", Zelensky also said.
