The process of settling the Ukrainian conflict and the process of establishing relations with the United States are proceeding independently of each other, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists, TASS reports.
“Currently, we are engaged in restoring relations with Washington, establishing a dialogue, while the Ukrainian settlement and ensuring our national interests are a different process. They do not depend on each other“, said Peskov, answering the question of which of the two paths has a higher priority at the moment.
