Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended the term of the defense plan of the Russian Federation for 2021-2025 by two years, TASS reported, citing his decree, BTA writes.
“The words “for 2021-2025“ are replaced by the words “for 2021-2027“, the published document says.
The defense plan for 2021 - 2025 was adopted on November 12, 2020, TASS specifies.
The first defense plan in the history of Russia was approved in January 2013. It outlines the potential risks and threats to the country's security, as well as the resulting actions in key areas such as the development of the armed forces and the implementation of armament programs, mobilization preparation, and territorial defense.
