In the period from 20:00 on May 20 to 08:00 on May 22, the Russian armed forces shot down a total of 485 Ukrainian drones over various regions of the country, the Defense Ministry in Moscow reported, quoted by the BBC.
Of the downed drones, 63 were neutralized over Moscow region.
Ukraine has not made an official comment on the attacks.
The serious wave of drones led to the temporary suspension of flights at airports in Moscow and other cities, creating difficulties for air traffic.
In the southern city of Tula, one of the drones damaged the roof of a residential building, local authorities reported. There are no reports of casualties.
Ivanovsk region becomes the fifth to suspend mobile internet due to drone attacks.
"Mobile internet is restricted in several regions of the country. This is being done for security reasons. "Our region is no exception," said Ivanovo region governor Stanislav Voskresensky on VKontakte.
"As soon as the situation allows, access to mobile internet will be restored," he added, advising to use fixed internet and Wi-Fi.
A day earlier, mobile internet was cut off first in Lipetsk, and then in Tula and Vladimir regions. On Thursday, it became known that at the request of the military, mobile internet was suspended in Oryol region.
