Residents of both Kursk Region and our Other Border Regions in the Immediate Proximity to the Line of Combat Contact Now Need Additional Support. These Are the Belgorod and Bryansk Regions. It is necessary to prepare a comprehensive program for the restoration of the affected border regions as soon as possible. This program must be provided with the necessary financial and material resources. Additional equipment and specialists will be attracted, including from other regions. The Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Health, the Ministries of Transport, Energy, Digital Development and Communications, Education and other departments are instructed to be involved in the development and implementation of such a program.
At the same time, I ask you to be in constant contact with volunteer and public organizations. Rely on the feedback mechanism with the residents of the indicated regions, responding to their requests and problems in a timely manner. Separately, there will be a special meeting on the restoration of the border regions: People there have many questions. We discussed all this in detail at the meeting with the heads of municipalities.
We will not go into details now, but I ask that these details be taken into account in the restoration program. The government should pay special attention to the problems that are urgent for the border regions. This is, of course, the restoration of housing, social and transport facilities.
These are compensation payments for lost property. This is support for displaced persons - those who were forced to leave their homes and now live in temporary accommodation centers, with relatives or rent housing.
