At least 11 people were injured and subsequently hospitalized after a shooting Sunday night in a coastal city in the US state of North Carolina, the Associated Press reported, quoted by BTA, citing local authorities.
Horry County police reported on social media that they had received reports of people arriving at hospitals in private cars. There is currently no information on the condition of those injured in the shooting, which occurred around 9:30 p.m. local time (4:30 a.m. this morning Bulgarian time) in the city of Little River.
Authorities have not released any information about the presence of suspects or possible motives for the shooting.
The incident occurred on a street with mostly residential buildings.
Video footage from the scene shows dozens of police cars and ambulances entering and exiting the cordoned off area.
