At least two people were killed and nine injured in a shooting in Philadelphia, the television channel WPVI reported.
The incident occurred on May 26 at around 10:30 p.m. local time (4:30 a.m. on May 27, Bulgarian time) in Fairmont Central Park. According to police, the dead were a man and a woman, and among the injured were three teenagers aged between 15 and 17. Other details about the incident, as well as information about the shooters, were not provided.
The shooting in the park occurred on Memorial Day, which honors American service members who died in various conflicts, and many city residents were picnicking in the park. Police confirmed that there was a large group at the scene of the incident during the shooting.
