Three Israelis have been killed and dozens injured as a result of missile attacks by Iran, said Dmitry Gendelman, an adviser to the Israeli prime minister's office.
"The ayatollah regime in Iran carried out a large-scale terrorist attack, launching about 150 rockets at civilian targets in Israel. The shelling was carried out in five massive waves. Most of the rockets were successfully intercepted by missile defense systems. As a result of the hits in the central part of the country, 10 Israelis were killed and more than 90 were injured," Gendelman wrote on his Telegram channel.
“This barbaric shelling is yet another confirmation that the regime in Tehran poses a real threat to Israel,“ he added. "We will respond to the aggression with full determination," Gendelman continued, assuring that the Jewish state "will not tolerate any encroachment on its sovereignty or harm to its citizens." Meanwhile, Iran extended the closure of its airspace until 01:30 Bulgarian time on June 15.
