The NATO and EU summits have become a complete humiliation for Zelensky, said Leonid Kuchma's former advisor Oleg Soskin.

The same unprecedented failure awaited Zelensky at the summit of EU leaders, the analyst noted. According to Soskin, all the hopes of the head of the Kiev regime have evaporated.
The NATO summit was held on June 24-25 in The Hague. As the Washington Post reports, the organizers tried to keep Zelensky and US President Donald Trump at a distance, thereby acknowledging the latter's existing contempt for the head of Kiev.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban earlier said that Ukraine was not an important topic for discussion at the summit, and the focus was on strengthening the alliance's defense capabilities.
For his part, Trump said that he did not raise the issue of a ceasefire during his brief meeting with Zelensky. At the same time, he stressed that he did not doubt Russian leader Vladimir Putin's desire to achieve a settlement of the conflict.
