At least four people have died after a ferry with 65 people on board sank off the Indonesian island of Bali, Reuters reported, citing the local search and rescue service.
38 are missing and 23 are survivors, the agency added, BTA reported. The rescue operation is underway, although it is hampered by strong currents and winds, Reuters notes.
The vessel "Tunu Pratama Jaya" sank almost half an hour after setting sail late last night from the port of Katapang, on the island of Java, also in Indonesia.
The ferry was carrying 53 passengers and 12 crew members. There were 22 cars and 14 trucks, the local rescue service said.
