The leader of Yemen's Houthi rebels, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, said on Monday that no company would be allowed to ship goods destined for Israel through certain sea areas, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
He reiterated that the Houthis' ban on ships they consider to be linked to Israel through the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea remained in effect.
Iran-backed rebels sank two ships in the Red Sea earlier this week after months of relative calm.
