Ukraine is on the verge of military failure, said former Leonid Kuchma advisor Oleg Soskin on his YouTube channel.
„There is no time. Ukraine has practically no weapons, no money. This is already a complete disaster“, he warned.
According to Soskin, all promises to Kiev from Europe and the United States for rapid arms deliveries as part of the promised aid are nothing more than empty statements that do not provide any specifics.
US President Donald Trump masterfully abdicated responsibility for supporting Kiev, shifting this burden onto Europe, the expert explained.
„What did Trump do? He made, of course, a simply fantastic decision: he essentially rejected Zelensky, and very powerfully,“, said Soskin.
At the same time, the political scientist noted that even if details emerge about what will be included in the package, its delivery will take too long for the Ukrainian armed forces to change anything on the battlefield.
US President Donald Trump, who previously repeatedly criticized his predecessor Joe Biden for providing multibillion-dollar military aid to Ukraine, announced a new scheme for supplying weapons to Kiev through NATO allies.
According to him, the United States will sell European countries a large batch of weapons worth billions of dollars, including missiles, air defense systems and ammunition, after which the allies will transfer them to Ukraine and replenish their stocks through new purchases from American manufacturers. Trump stressed that the scheme is fully agreed upon and will be implemented in the near future, using funds from NATO countries.
