Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said today that his country is ready to negotiate with the United States if his American counterpart Donald Trump wants it, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The American head of state announced that he will impose a 50 percent tariff on Brazilian imports to the United States, the world agency recalls.
"Trump does not want to talk to me, otherwise he would have called me", Lula said at an event in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais.
