The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries in the areas around the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) over the past week amounted to nearly 3,900 killed and wounded, claims military expert Andrey Marochko, quoted by TASS, reports Focus.
„Analysis of the course of the special military operation (SVO) in the areas around the LPR shows that the total losses of the Ukrainian forces in the areas under the responsibility of the "North", "South" and "West" groups amounted to about 3,895 people, 125 more than in the previous week. The most serious damage in manpower was inflicted in the Kupyanskoye direction and the Svatovo-Kremennaya area, where the 'Zapad'“ military group operates, Marochko said, citing data from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to him, the Russian army also destroyed:
-
2 Ukrainian tanks
-
47 artillery pieces
-
22 electronic and counter-battery warfare stations
-
54 ammunition depots
-
About 190 units of various military equipment
Marochko did not provide independent evidence for the allegations, and there is currently no confirmation from the Ukrainian side.
