The trade agreement between the United States and the European Union will lead to further deindustrialization of Europe. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, quoted by the TASS agency, reports Focus.
“It is clear that such an approach will accelerate the process of deindustrialization in Europe, will cause an outflow of investments from the EU to the US and will deal a heavy blow, especially on the prices of energy resources, the industrial sector and agriculture in Europe“, Lavrov said during his participation in the forum “The Territory of Meanings“.
According to him, the European economy will suffer serious damage from the growing dependence on the American market and American policies in the field of trade and energy.
