US Federal Reserve Governor Adriana Kugler is resigning, effective next week, the central bank announced, dariknews.bg reported.
The change in leadership comes at a time when the Federal Reserve is under increased pressure from President Donald Trump, AFP reported.
Kugler, who was nominated by former President Joe Biden in 2023, did not give a reason for her departure from the Federal Reserve board.
She is expected to return to Georgetown University as a professor this year, the Federal Reserve added.
