Ukraine may receive new weapons, US President Donald Trump has given the Pentagon several orders that bring this closer, says the president of the Republican Club "Ronald Reagan" Boris Pincus.
According to him, such weapons can change the course of military operations - in particular, to strike deep into Russia, at key targets. He commented on the possible military aid to Ukraine in an interview with Channel 24, quoted by Focus.
Boris Pincus emphasizes that the US Congress has long demanded that Ukraine be provided with such weapons – this also applies to the new American cruise missiles.
"The uniqueness of these missiles is that they fly below 300 meters, and this is very important, because they do not fall into the radar range. Their range is 450-500 kilometers, and this, of course, is a sufficient distance", he notes.
Pincus also stated that such "air-to-ground" missiles can be used on both MiG and F-16 fighters, and also that the American leader has already ordered the Pentagon to conclude contracts with two defense corporations in the United States for the production of such missiles for Ukraine.
