Unmanned systems are becoming a key component of the armed forces of Ukraine, with their interaction with infantry and artillery playing a crucial role in deterring the enemy. This was emphasized during the monthly meeting dedicated to the development of the capacity of the forces for unmanned systems (UBS), the Ukrainian military announced.

Over the past month, Ukrainian drones have hit 23,400 enemy targets. The bulk of them are the work of FPV drones and night drone bombers, the effectiveness of which continues to grow.

The destruction of enemy manpower was highlighted as a top priority. In July alone, thanks to the actions of the BPS, 5,134 enemy fighters were eliminated. Among the leaders in combat work were the units "Birds of Madayara", "Phoenix" of the State Border Service and "Achilles".

During the meeting, progress was also reported in the formation of units using robotic ground complexes - the next step in the development of the unmanned component. Work will be done in this direction both in terms of logistics and combat units.

A particularly valuable part of the meeting was the exchange of experience between different units. Commanders from the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade, the 429th operational unit "Achilles" and the unit "Phoenix" presented their achievements and innovations. to the border service.

A report on the MiddleStrike project - a strike drone with a range of between 50 and 120 km, as well as other promising developments, was also presented at the meeting. Proposals and needs of the participants were discussed, and specific tasks were set to increase the combat capabilities of the BPS.

In conclusion, the Ukrainian military emphasized that the greatest success of unmanned technologies is precisely in saving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.
