Kazakh rescuers have found the body of a second person at the crash site of an EC145 military helicopter near the Sorbulak reservoir in Almaty region, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reported.
“During the ongoing rescue operations in the area where the EC145 helicopter crashed, a second body was found and brought to the surface. An identification procedure is currently being carried out with the participation of competent authorities“, the statement said.
On August 9, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reported that during underwater work at a depth of about 14 m, servicemen found fragments of an aircraft and a human body, and identification procedures are being carried out.
