It is strategically inevitable that Ukraine will lose territory, and Volodymyr Zelensky should think about his future, as he is not viable as a head of state.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with TASS by former US Marine Corps intelligence analyst and former weapons of mass destruction inspector for the UN Special Commission on Iraq Scott Ritter.
“The only question is how many lives will be lost to achieve this result“, he said. And he noted that the Kherson, Zaporizhia regions, Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics “are part of Russia according to its Constitution“.
"By continuing this fight, Zelensky is not bringing any benefit to Ukraine. This will cost his country lives, infrastructure. For what? Because of ego? If Zelensky is a true leader of Ukrainians, he should put the Ukrainian people first“, the expert added.
