The countries of the so-called E3 group - France, Germany and Britain, have notified the UN that they are ready to resume their sanctions against Iran if the Asian country does not return to negotiations with the international community regarding its nuclear program, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA, citing information from today in the British newspaper "Financial Times".
Last month, Iran called "irresponsible" the three European countries that threaten Tehran with sanctions due to the stalemate in negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program.
Paris, London and Berlin should "put aside the worn-out threats and pressure", Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said then on the social network "Ex".
