In the first half of 2025, the Russian concern "Kalashnikov" produced military and civilian products worth a total of 52% more compared to the same period in 2024. This is clear from a company statement, Focus reports.

"State orders are being fulfilled in full," the manufacturer reports. The company emphasizes that state orders for combat small arms continue to be at a consistently high level.

In addition to military production, the concern's production range, officially announced, includes sales of various industrial machines, including multi-purpose drones. The company is also noting an increase in production in this area.

The Russian concern "Kalashnikov"'s revenue from export contracts for small arms for 2024 is a record for the last 10 years, the concern announced in January.

"Kalashnikov" received record revenue from export contracts for 2024 for the supply of combat and civilian small arms, exceeding the corresponding indicators for the last ten years. The nomenclature in which foreign customers are interested included more than 15 versions of models of combat snipers and automatic weapons, smooth-bore hunting rifles and rifled carbines," the company specified at the time.

In May, it became known that serial deliveries of the latest Russian RPL-20 machine gun with a caliber of 5.45 mm could begin as early as 2025, money.bg recalls. This was stated by the chief designer of small arms of the Russian concern "Kalashnikov" Sergey Urzhumtsev, TASS reported at the time. Each machine gun will be equipped with a special device for faster feeding of cartridges, and the machine gun will be loaded with cartridges of 100 or 200 cartridges, Urzhumtsev commented at the time.
