Russian President Vladimir Putin, Already in Magadan, Will Fly to Anchorage on Time for Summit with US Leader Donald Trump, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russian state television "Rossiya 1" and presenter Pavel Zarubin, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
Trump will personally meet him at the plane upon his arrival in Anchorage at exactly 11 a.m. local time (10 p.m. Bulgarian time) today, Peskov added, quoted by Reuters.
The Kremlin spokesman announced that in Magadan, Putin visited a number of sites and held meetings, and then he will also meet with the head of the region.
"Then he will fly from Magadan to Anchorage on time because the president is supposed to land there at exactly 11 a.m. local time and President Trump will personally meet him at the plane," Peskov specified, quoted by TASS. According to him, the meeting at the plane was arranged in advance.
When asked by the journalist whether Putin would be able to arrive on time for the summit with such a schedule, Peskov emphasized: "The president always arrives on time."
