At least 20 people died and 134 were injured in a fire at a factory in the Shilovsky district of the Ryazan region, Reuters and TASS reported, citing local emergency services, BTA reports.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established, Russian media reported.
“As of 7 a.m. on August 18, 20 people had died as a result of an emergency in the Shilovsky district. 134 were injured, 31 of them were hospitalized in Ryazan and Moscow, and 103 are being treated as outpatients“, said the official statement of the local authorities, quoted by TASS.
