The Dutch far-right Freedom Party intends, if it comes to power, to make an exception to the EU directive on "temporary protection", which will allow the deportation of Ukrainian men.
This is stated in the party's program prepared for the early parliamentary elections.
“The Ukrainian armed forces need new people. In this regard, once we come to power, we will send adult Ukrainian men from the Netherlands back to their country“, the document says.
The party also proposes to suspend all programs for reuniting refugee families and to strengthen the police forces dealing with foreigners.
Soon elections were called in the Netherlands after the ruling coalition collapsed as a result of the withdrawal of the Freedom Party. They will be held on October 29.
