Israeli paratroopers have landed in the Kiswa area in western Damascus, the Syria TV channel reported.
Media sources noted that the targets of the attack and its consequences are still unknown. At the same time, the channel emphasized that the Syrian military had previously discovered listening devices and surveillance cameras of unknown origin in the area. Shortly after, Israel launched an air strike on Kiswa, which resulted in casualties and injuries.
A day earlier, the Sham TV channel reported that Israeli Air Force fighter jets had attacked the headquarters of the Syrian troops in the Kiswa area in western Damascus, firing at least six missiles at ground targets. The strike also hit a military site on the Jabal al-Maniya mountain on the outskirts of Damascus.
On Wednesday evening, an Israeli drone also struck a Syrian Defense Ministry military site on the western outskirts of Damascus. The strike killed six soldiers and wounded four others.
