Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin held a telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky, during which he stated Dublin's readiness to participate in a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
“I assured Zelensky that Ireland is ready to support the work of the “coalition of the willing“, including through non-lethal military assistance and our openness to participate in any peacekeeping mission with an appropriate mandate in accordance with the UN Charter“, Martin said, quoted by his office.
He also stressed that Ireland “will continue to work with partners to support Ukraine's progress towards EU membership“.
