US President Donald Trump announced that he is planning a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the coming days, „Reuters“ reported, News.bg reports.
„I will speak to him in the coming days and I will find out exactly what is going on“, Trump told journalists.
When asked what message he had for the Russian leader, the American president replied:
„I have no message for President Putin. He knows my position and will make one decision or another.“
Trump added that Washington's reaction would depend on Putin's decision:
“Depending on what decision Putin makes, we will be happy or unhappy, and if we are unhappy, then you will see what happens.“
