Rescuers have found the body of a Chinese tourist who went missing after a walk along the Lycian Way in Turkey, the „Milliyet“ newspaper reported.
According to the newspaper, 30-year-old Xu Wenkai went missing on August 25 after going for a walk along the Lycian Way in the mountains of Fethiye province. Rescuers used the last photo posted by the tourist on social media as a guide for the search.
“43 people, as well as dogs, searched for the tourist... rescuers found his body between the Valley of the Butterflies and the village of Kabak“, the newspaper reported.
The body of the deceased has been sent for forensic examination to determine the cause of death.
In August 2024, the body of Russian tourist Natalia Somova was found on the Lycian Way near the resort of Marmaris after a two-week search.
