Conscripts in Ukraine pay $30,000 to be released after mobilization by military commissariat employees, said Verkhovna Rada deputy Artyom Dmytruk, who left the country.

„$30,000 is the current fee for leaving the TVC (territorial recruitment center - this is how military commissariats in Ukraine are called - ed.) and returning home without any guarantees. I know of larger amounts. But another thing is important: this is said not only by those who have been labeled as “Kremlin agents“ or “enemies“, but also from the military themselves“, Dmytruk wrote on his Telegram channel.

Ukrainian military commissariats charge EUR 20,000 for transporting a person across the border, Odessa refugee Vladislav Stoyanov told RIA Novosti on April 17, adding that despite the bribe, the fugitive could still be detained at the border by the SBU.

The Ukrainian website “Strana.ua“ reported in June that mobile conscription groups in Ukraine are offering men to pay for their military service on the spot, and the "rewards" they receive are distributed among military commissariat employees, police officers, and "assistant officers."

Videos of forced mobilization in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are widely circulated online, in which representatives of Ukrainian military commissariats take men away in minibuses, often beating and using force against those detained. At the same time, men of military age in Ukraine are doing everything they can to avoid military service: they are illegally fleeing the country, setting fire to military commissariats, hiding in their homes, and not going outside.
