Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said yesterday that Israel plans to demolish at least 50 "terror towers" that he said were being used by "Hamas". Israel has demolished numerous high-rise buildings in Gaza City in recent days, warning that "Hamas" has installed surveillance infrastructure in them.
The destruction of the buildings is part of an intensified Israeli offensive to take control of Gaza City, which Israel says is the last bastion of "Hamas".
