Russia considers it important to analyze the real scale of the consequences of the incident in Poland and compare them with the noise that is being stirred up, said Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya.
„We consider it important to analyze the real scale of the consequences of the incident and compare them with the noise that is being stirred up by Polish and other European politicians“, he said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
Ukraine has long been trying to expand the geography of the conflict and does not think about the consequences of such an escalation, Nebenzya said.
„It is no secret that Ukraine has long and consistently tried to expand the geography of the conflict, without to think about the consequences of such an escalation“, he noted.
The diplomat said that the Polish authorities “over all these years, in their anti-Russian fury, have been ready to support any actions of the Kiev regime, no matter how criminal and reckless they are, and have fueled it in every possible way, hoping to harm Russia“.
Russia has repeatedly stated that it is not interested in escalating tensions in relations with Poland, the diplomat recalled.
“We have repeatedly stated that we are not interested in escalating tensions with Warsaw. We are repeating it now“, he said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
