Cases of Covid 19 patients are increasing, says virologist Professor Radka Argirova. People with chronic diseases and those over 65 years of age are vulnerable.
"We also expect the first flu vaccines by mid-October. They will be distributed through the RHIs and we invite older people with chronic diseases to get them. It is good to have a 14-day period between the vaccination against Covid 19 and the one against the flu strains, explained Prof. Argirova to BNR.
New drugs treat HIV, Professor Argirova also said. They were not known until now.
Bulgaria has a high mortality rate from cervical cancer, it became clear during the 24th national meeting of doctors - specialists of the “Media, Society, Family and Traditions“ foundation. The national cervical cancer screening program is extremely important, says Prof. Radka Argirova.
