Due to the strong interest, the Spring Weekend Festival of Chinese Cars is expanding to 5 more cities besides Sofia - Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse and Gabrovo.
The events in these cities will be held at DONGFENG dealerships (see HERE). Admission is free.
The festival is hosted by Avto Union, the official representative in Bulgaria of BYD (Build Your Dreams) – the largest manufacturer of electrified vehicles (NEVs) in the world, as well as China Motor Company, the official importer and exclusive representative of DONGFENG for Bulgaria and Serbia.
The first BYD showroom in the country - the largest manufacturer of electrified vehicles (NEVs) in the world - is opening its doors in Sofia especially for the days of the festival.
Over 20 test cars of all models will be available to visitors in Sofia. Other leading brands from China are expected to join the exhibition section, which will increase the total number of models presented to over 50.
Owners of single units and models of brands that are not represented in Bulgaria - Xiaomi, Li Auto, Zeekr and Xpeng - will also be present.
The festival in Sofia will be opened by the Ambassador of China to Bulgaria H.E. Ms. Dai Qinli on March 28 at 11:00 and will continue until 17:00, and on Sunday (March 29) will be open from 11:00 to 14:00.
As in Sofia, the events in Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Ruse will be filled with many games, prizes, special conditions for purchasing cars and children's areas for games and entertainment.
Only during the two festival days, DONGFENG will give away free CASCO for every purchased model of the brand.
The Spring Weekend Fest is an invitation to all fans and owners of Chinese cars and their families to immerse themselves in the world of the new generation of cars from China, in which innovation and technology, electric mobility and modern design go hand in hand. For the first time, visitors will be able to see a wide range of attractive models from various leading Chinese manufacturers in one place, which are confidently conquering European roads with their technologies, bold design
and impressive price-quality ratio.
