Henrik von Scheil - one of the authors of the legislation on artificial intelligence in Europe, stressed that Kazakhstan has achieved a lot in economic development and interaction between the state and society in the past few years.
"I think artificial intelligence will significantly change Kazakhstan in the next 10 years. It is good that you have already started to pay so much attention to artificial intelligence. I myself have studied various laws on artificial intelligence around the world and I was very impressed by your work. You have used the best of the European Union's experience, conducted a risk assessment, considered how to ensure transparency and openness in markets and how to ensure the protection of human rights", the expert expressed his opinion.
The hearing was attended by the Acting Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, the deputy of the Majilis Ekaterina Smyshlyaeva, representatives of IT companies and experts.
On the sidelines of the parliamentary hearings, an exhibition of projects in the field of artificial intelligence, digital technologies and innovations was held. State agencies and IT companies presented over 20 developments in various fields - from public services and law enforcement to medicine, education, logistics and construction.
