Traditional pogachas, pitas, banitsa (banitsa with Turkish delight, with rice and cheese and potatoes) and breads from all over Bulgaria were presented during the 13th edition of the festival "Bulgarian Bread", which is held within the framework of the Rose Festival in Kazanlak.
Most of the breads and pastry treats were at symbolic prices from 1 leva to 5 leva, a reporter from FAKTI saw. On the other hand, the guests who entered for an 8 leva entrance fee were able to try the longest twisted banitsa with rose Turkish delight and pork kebab and parlenka for free.
According to the organizers, the This year's exhibition has achieved a kind of record, since it is not known that a banitsa with rose and rose water delight has been prepared in our country, with a similar length - nearly 1 kilometer and a weight of 400 kilograms.

In practice, food can be not only a pleasure for the senses, but also a powerful tool for diplomacy, as well as a bridge between cultures.
The event was attended by leading speakers from Bulgaria and Japan. The presentations of Prof. Hiro Takahashi - a prominent Japanese scientist and lecturer at Sofia University “St. Clement Ohridski” and Assoc. Dr. Maria Yotova - lecturer at the prestigious University of Kyoto-Japan, looked at how food serves as a tool for cultural exchange and economic development.
