Lena Borislavova revealed why she "skipped" the PP congress

The task of becoming more accessible, more practical and better communicators with our supporters in the name of what we believe in

Lena Borislavova revealed the mystery of why she was not at one of the party's most important events. Her absence raised many questions.

„I spent the last few days training alongside inspiring politicians from all over Europe - part of the ALDE family. That's why I was unable to attend the PP general assembly.

Together with colleagues and advisors from ALDE, we discussed the challenges and difficulties facing liberal democracy in the modern, changing world. I shocked many with a story about what is happening specifically in Bulgaria and the political repression of the opposition.

The lesson that our responsibility as political representatives is not only to look at the big picture and the big goals such as the rule of law, freedom of the individual and speech, etc., but to also be able to “sit at the kitchen table” and provide solutions and show understanding for the everyday problems of our voters: about the bill at the store, the price of a new apartment, the safety of the street in front of the apartment building…

The task of becoming more accessible, more practical and better communicators with our supporters in the name of what we believe in.

The mission that there is no one else to fight for our ideas and hopes for change.“

Today, the delegates to the General Assembly of “Continuing the Change” will elect a new party leader. The results of the vote will be announced in the afternoon.
