The Judicial College of the Supreme Judicial Council (SC of the SJC) has reinstated Daniela Taleva as a judge at the Sofia City Court. This was reported by the legal portal Lex.bg.
The decision comes into effect on December 7, 2025, when her term as an ad hoc prosecutor expires.
Earlier this month, she was dismissed from her position due to the expiration of her two-year term.
Taleva was the first magistrate appointed as an ad hoc prosecutor.
Since there are currently no vacancies for a judge at the SJC, the SC of the SJC transformed a position for a deputy president into one for an ordinary judge so that Taleva can take office on December 7.
