The Sofia District Court terminated and returned to the prosecutor's office the case against six defendants for hooliganism in front of the European Parliament and European Commission buildings in February in Sofia, BNR reported.
A preliminary hearing in the case was held today. The court panel agreed with the defendants' lawyers that remediable significant violations were committed during the pre-trial proceedings.
On February 22 of this year, protesters threw red paint at the EC building in Sofia. At that time, the SDVR stated that police officers were injured and six were detained.
