Borisov is pleased with the protest - he says that he did a great job - the budget has been withdrawn, the procedure starts over. What does he actually tell us? That he did not have the influence to prevent this plundering budget and waited for people to come out to do his job? These questions are asked in his position published on Facebook by the leader of the VMRO and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense in the period 2017-2021, Dr. Krasimir Karakachanov, and he adds:
Is it really impossible for the leader of the party-mandate holder to influence his own government on what budget to propose? Does anyone believe this? If so, then Borisov publicly admits that he is a silent letter in this government, Karakachanov stated and continued:
„They boasted that GERB is now 19 years old, i.e. he has been governing Bulgaria for 19 years. But apparently these 19 years in power lead to self-forgetfulness and distancing from the real problems of the people. From the very beginning, everyone said that the budget was not working, why didn't they listen?“
Do you remember that in his first term, Borisov kept justifying himself with the previous ones, they were always his fault. However, he has had no one to blame for a long time. And the results are visible - Bulgaria is in ruins, thanks to GERB. Excluding the term in which we - the patriots, entered a coalition to prevent them from doing stupid things. For example - we did not allow the Istanbul Convention to be adopted, we imposed the family income taxation model, we increased incomes in education, security, pensions almost twice, free kindergartens. And all these things that are useful for Bulgarians happened not because of the big coalition partner GERB - they have nothing to boast about, but after incredible pressure and insistence on our part, the leader of VMRO reminds.
Bulgaria is the poorest in the EU, with the weakest economy, with the least foreign investment, with the highest mortality rate and the lowest birth rate. And we add millions who fled to seek their fortune outside the country. This is the balance sheet of this party. And it is logical that it will already go down in history. The process has begun and is irreversible. As they say - the bill is coming.
The 51st parliament has nothing more to offer the people, it has been exhausted. A new budget will not save them. This is simply postponing the denouement. They have grasped at straws for the new budget like drowning men in order to stay in power a little longer, concludes Krasimir Karakachanov.
