After the serious protests and after the government fell, it was clear that President Radev is leaving. There are already very serious expectations for him. He is expected to come out and fight the dragon he has criticized for years. This was said by Vanya Grigorova, leader of "Solidarna Bulgaria" in the show "Lice v lice" on bTV.
According to her, among the reasons for Radev resigning right now is the expiration of his second presidential term. Vanya Grigorova did not rule out the possibility of a possible joint government between GERB and PP-DB, if President Radev had not announced his resignation. "I think Radev's move is very right", she added.
We will have some way out after these elections, Grigorova believes. But according to her, Rumen Radev's formation will not gather a full majority.
"We see how PP-DB is being thrown out, that they can have a majority. But no one has the opportunity to get 121 parliamentary seats. One of the first challenges for Radev will be who to govern with and for how long. We have already heard that a program government could be formed in a few months, which would lead to new elections", Grigorova pointed out.
At the moment, it is not clear what the shape of Radev's formation is, except that it is patriotic. But for me it is important that it is left-wing, that it has solidarity policies, Vanya Grigorova added.
According to her, "Vazrazhdane" is a natural partner of Rumen Radev. And she called on Kostadin Kostadinov to "not be jealous of his specific ones, but to see them as potential partners".
