"The motive for the deaths in the "Petrohan" case is not understood. And if only this version is worked on, then we are really going to infinity and nowhere. This was commented on "This Morning" on bTV by Andrey Tsvetanov, a former investigator.
"If there is no other version that needs to be worked on, activities must be planned for it - and let it be, if it is not proven, work on it will not be applied. For external involvement. And not for murder, murder, suicide. The 4-4-2 system. It is not so. This is a serious crime and we need to work much more carefully“, he pointed out.
According to him, not only “convenient“ information should be provided.
“The abrasions on the hands and from the gun must match. It is a little more complicated. It will be answered whether this weapon was fired by this person. But even if the murder was committed with it, it is another matter. If the wounds are not transient, and the projectiles are stuck in the bodies, it can be answered which weapon was fired“, commented Tsvetanov.
According to him, “what the cameras did not show us“ may have happened, and the footage was shown selectively in order “to explain it to the people“.
“These are six corpses. These are six tragedies in families. These are not people who came from another planet and didn't like something and went to commit suicide. It's not that simple," the former investigator pointed out.
Andrei Tsvetanov explained that from day one he categorically believed that there could be external interference and this version should not be ruled out. According to him, it should be the leading one.
"To eliminate this version, for me, means a biased investigation", the investigator noted.
Because a permit was issued for the possession of 16 firearms in one day for one person, Tsvetanov commented – „I thought it was some kind of mistake“.
For him, the data in the prosecutor's office's announcement that literature on sexual topics was found, including written notes about "spiritual purification and elevation through sexual practices" - is also a biased presentation of information.
„To me, it says that we are being sold biased information, that only these books have not burned. And, for example, Botev or something by Vazov - we do not describe them. We are looking for something and when we find it - not on the first day, but after more than a week“, commented Tsvetanov.
He said that people from the village told him that the footage shown was old.
