The price and scope of the paid parking zones in Sofia remain in their current form. The Supreme Administrative Court has finally stopped the increase in the price and expansion of paid parking in Sofia, after confirming the decision of the first instance and rejecting the objections of the Sofia Municipal Council.
With their decision, the supreme magistrates leave in force the ruling of the Sofia-City Administrative Court from February, which blocked the operation of key texts of the Traffic Organization Regulation.
We are talking about the amendments adopted at the end of 2025 and entered into force on January 5, 2026, which provided for serious changes in the regime of the "blue" and "green" zones. The ruling of the SAC is final.
