How will voting be done in hard-to-reach villages?

Poor infrastructure makes it difficult for people every day

How will elderly people vote in small and hard-to-reach settlements?

In the Blagoevgrad village of Marulevo - with only about 30 residents, scattered across 19 remote neighborhoods, exercising the right to vote is proving to be a serious test. Will this discourage them from voting, check with BNT?

The most remote neighborhood is located nearly 7 kilometers from the polling station. There is no mobile ballot box here, and organized transportation is not provided. For people without a car, this means walking for hours to cast their vote.

"I really want to, but someone has to come and pick me up and take me to vote," Nevenka told BNT.

And the difficulties do not end with election day. Poor infrastructure makes life difficult for people every day.

But no one gives up believing that change can happen.

On the day of reflection in Marulevo, they ask themselves - will the state reach them in time before they give up looking for a way to get to the ballot box?
