The State Electricity System Operator (ESO) notified ERM West that on June 9, 2026 it will carry out repair activities at its substation “Troyan 1“, which requires a change in the power supply scheme for electricity consumers in some of the settlements in the municipalities of Lovech and Troyan, Lovech district.
Due to the repair activities of ESO and the change in the power supply scheme for consumers, for the period from 08:30 to 16:30 on June 9, 2026, power outages are possible in the village Leshnitsa in the municipality of Lovech, the villages of Oreshak, Borima, Lomets, Dobrodan, Dalbok Dol, Staro Selo, Golyama Zhelyazna and Shipkovo in the municipality of Troyan, as well as in the industrial zone and the northern part of the town of Troyan, Troyan municipality, Lovech district.
ERM West, as the operator of the electricity distribution network, is obliged to ensure safe conditions for the implementation of activities at the ESO facility. The change of the power supply scheme cannot be carried out without operational switching, which leads to short power supply interruptions.
ERM West takes all measures to minimize inconvenience to consumers. The company is constantly ready to respond in case of need.
