Kiril Petkov: It's not bravery to snitch on DANCE

I'm with my family again at "Coral" beach and we're enjoying the May sun. Although many are tired of this topic, it is a good example of what courage and bravery mean today and what not

"Today is St. George's Day - one of the brightest Christian holidays and a day of bravery. Happy name day to all namesakes! Happy holiday of the Bulgarian army!", this is what the co-chairman of Continuing the Change Kiril Petkov wrote on his Facebook profile.

"I am with my family again at the beach "Coral" and we enjoy the May sun. Although many are tired of this topic, it is a good example of what courage and bravery means today and what not, he added.

"As much as some people try to downplay the success of preserving the beautiful dunes behind this wonderful beach – it is already a fact and was achieved in the last parliament. Yes, this success also includes years of work by many people, as well as the dream of everyone in the association "Let's Save Coral", but it was really completed this year precisely by the people who dared to enter politics, even though there is the most the unenviable place. People like Miroslava Petrova, who could also be engaged in many other more pleasant things. People like her, I would call brave! Just like her, who never once asked “where in the list will I be?,” because she was interested in the cause, not talking about the cause and potential heroic posts like those of other Facebook knights who ended up becoming DANS whistleblowers," Petkov also wrote.

"It is not bravery to snitch on DANCE. It's dirty there, there's no point in pretending to be revolutionaries, but actually being used in this campaign by the behind-the-scenes forces. Revolutionaries, for whom the great achievement this year was to try to blacken the name of one of the bravest women in politics today,", he added.

"How nice it was on the beach, right now at the beginning of May! We didn't see any buffalo or birds making noise. It was quiet and peaceful. There is a preserved beautiful nature on a Black Sea beach, which our children will be able to enjoy as well," added Petkov.

"It's great! Happy celebration of bravery!", with these words the former prime minister ended his post.
