The event is part of the charitable initiative of the head of state “Support a dream“.
On Thursday at 7:30 p.m., in House 2 of the “Boyana“ residence. President Rumen Radev and his wife Desislava Radeva will welcome nearly 80 high school seniors from all over the country. Vice President Iliana Yotova will also attend the event.

The initiative “Support a dream“ is aimed at young people placed in social services for residential and foster care. In the 11th and 12th grades of secondary school, they receive support and guidance for their personal development through education or work. Young people are encouraged in their decision to continue their studies at a university or vocational college, and are given advice on choosing a suitable major. They become familiar with the opportunities for realization on the labor market through specific job offers.
To support the motivation to study, the President's Administration grants a one-time scholarship to young people from the initiative who have been accepted to study at a university or college. Financial aid for excellent results is also available to 12th grade students who are placed in social services. The funds for the scholarships for students and pupils are collected during the donation campaign that the presidential administration organizes annually.
