More and more reports of snakes in Varna. The Maritime Municipality is the only one in the country that, for another year, is considering appointing a person to respond to similar situations.
A week ago, while walking in the Sea Garden, Diana Nacheva came across an unpleasant surprise.
“A snake had stretched out on the alley and was basking in the sun. It was full of kids running around," she said.
The woman tried to keep her composure.
“In my panic, I somehow managed to remember what I had read and watched. I know you have to cover it with something to keep it in place. "I threw away my outer garment," Diana explained to NOVA, quoted by novini.bg.
Then she started looking for help.
„I called the duty phone in the municipality, but I couldn't get through. Accordingly, there is absolutely no information on the site about how exactly I should proceed, who I should turn to,”, the girl from Varna also shared.
However, then her friends told her about Boyan Blagoev, who for several years was employed by the municipality as a snake catcher.
„I called him and he explained that at the moment there is no contract with the institution and in reality he cannot help. I asked him, quite humanly, to just come and tell me what to do because there are children nearby. I am very grateful, because he reacted extremely quickly and came in 15 minutes," explained Diana.
